Every year in April, the new school year begins in Nepal – but for the youngest children at our Children’s Light School, the adventure starts as early as February, two months earlier.
In their Lotus Class, they have the opportunity to gradually familiarize themselves with their new environment and gently ease into school life. They get to know their teachers, discover their daily routine filled with play, singing, and shared meals, and take their first steps in holding a pencil and drawing on paper.
It is always heartwarming to see how quickly the children settle in – full of joy, openness, and curiosity for all the new experiences that await them here.
Our small class sizes, with a maximum of 12 children and at least two teachers, allow for loving and individualized support. This ensures that each soul-child is truly seen, nurtured, and embraced in their uniqueness.
